At Remalaya, we cherish opportunities to connect with our local community, especially through participation in county fairs that highlight the richness of Indian culture. These events serve as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and deeper appreciation of our heritage.

In 2019 and 2022, we showcased our nonprofit's mission at the Alameda County Fair with an engaging booth that provided visitors with insights into our work and the traditions we represent. The fair was also enriched by performances from classical Indian and Bollywood dancers, creating an atmosphere filled with cultural celebration. Our booth helped facilitate conversations and connections among festival-goers, allowing them to learn more about the significance of Remalaya's mission as well as Indian art and culture.

In 2022, we proudly represented India at the Mountain View AAPI Cultural Festival, where we highlighted various aspects of Indian heritage through different. This festival allowed us to engage with attendees and share the stories behind our traditions, fostering a greater understanding of the cultural richness that defines us.

Through our presence at county fairs, Remalaya aims to celebrate the diverse Indian heritages and build meaningful connections within the community. We look forward to continuing this important work, sharing our traditions, and inviting everyone to celebrate with us in the future!
